Gallovie shaped with abundant promise on her Newbury debut last month and looks difficult to oppose on her second start at Windsor.

The daughter of Kyllachy was beaten just three-quarters of a length into second place on her introduction little over three weeks ago and deserves huge credit given she raced on the pace from the off.

She was mowed down late by the more experienced Angel Mead, but finished ahead of the Queen's Magnetic Charm, who gave the form a significant boost when returning to Newbury to register a facile victory on Monday.

Fledgling trainer Archie Watson has unearthed a few talented juveniles this season, with Royal Ascot hero Soldier's Call top of the pile.

Gallovie looks another who can go on and make her mark at a higher level if she can, as expected, get off the mark in the Go Jump In Fillies' Novice Auction Stakes.

Exceedingly Diva can perhaps recoup the losses of her recent Salisbury defeat in the Ossie & Hutch Memorial Fillies' Handicap.

After going down by half a length on her Windsor debut, Marcus Tregoning's three-year-old rounded off her juvenile campaign with an authoritative victory at Salisbury.

She was a heavily supported even-money favourite to make a winning reappearance at the same track late last month, but was far too keen to do herself justice in front and faded to finish fourth.

Almost certain to strip a lot fitter for that first run in almost a year, she is given another chance to prove her worth as she enters the handicap arena for the first time off a mark of 81.

Giving Glances gets the nod in the Dale Hall & Hickman Associates Fillies' Handicap at Leicester.

The Passing Glance filly ran perfectly well on her first three starts in handicap company this season without success.

Trainer Alan King decided to step her up to a mile and a half for the first time on her most recent outing and it proved the correct call as the extra distance appeared a major factor in her two-length success.

A 7lb hike makes life tougher, but she is open to further improvement at this trip and looks sure to give a good account of herself. It would be no surprise to see her pursue a jumping career in due course.

Group One honours are up for grabs in the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh.

Aidan O'Brien has saddled a staggering 16 winners of the race in the last 20 years, including each of the last four, and is fancied to extend his incredible record with Sergei Prokofiev.

He was beaten just over a length into third place in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and may have finished even closer to the eventual winner Calyx had he enjoyed a smoother run.

Sporting Life tips:

CURRAGH: 1.55 Cuileann, 2.25 Run The Day, 3.00 Fulminate, 3.35 Sergei Prokofiev, 4.10 Son Of Rest, 4.45 Caesar's Comet, 5.15 Medal Of Honour.

DOWNPATRICK: 2.05 Agusta Gold, 2.40 Political Policy, 3.15 Make My Heart Fly, 3.50 Don't Let Go, 4.25 Present In Court, 4.55 Lady Of The Sea, 5.30 Neptune.

LEICESTER: 2.00 Massam, 2.35 Sultan Baybars, 3.10 Giving Glances, 3.45 Neola, 4.20 Fabianski, 4.50 Nampara, 5.25 Compton Poppy.

WINDSOR: 2.15 GALLOVIE (NAP), 2.50 West End Charmer, 3.25 Exceedingly Diva, 4.00 Bullingdon, 4.35 Ladweb, 5.05 Sigrid Nansen, 5.40 Safarhi, 6.10 Broad Appeal.

DOUBLE: Gallovie and Exceedingly Diva.
