Space Traveller bounced back to winning form in the Group Two Clipper Logistics Boomerang Stakes for Richard Fahey at Leopardstown on Saturday.
Owners Clipper Logistics won their own race thanks to a strong late run from the son of Bated Breath, who held off the challenge of fellow British raider Matterhorn by a neck.
A winner of the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot earlier in the season under Danny Tudhope, he was ridden by a new jockey, Billy Lee, in Ireland with the former choosing to ride Suedois.
Lee held up the three-year-old in the rear of the field in the early stages but made good progress from three furlongs out and he hit the front down the outside in the final furlong.
He battled well to seal the deal from Matterhorn with Pincheck back in third.
The winning jockey said: "It’s important to get your name on the board and especially for Steve Parkin and Clipper Logistics as well it’s extra special.
"On his day he’s a useful horse. He’s won the Jersey at Ascot and you need a nice horse to do that and today he was on his best behaviour and he’s done it well.
"It was a nice spare to pick up!"
