Somehow ruled out of Pretty Polly by Aidan O'Brien

Somehow will not run in the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday, said trainer Aidan O'Brien.

The four-year-old daughter of Galileo has already had a busy campaign – she has won twice this year and also finished second in the Tattersalls Gold Cup in May – and will play no part in the Group One over a mile and a quarter.

O'Brien, who has won the last two renewals with Diamondsandrubies and Minding, told the Irish Independent: "She will not be running in Sunday's race."

The Ballydoyle handler could instead saddle Santa Monica, Pocketfullofdreams and Rain Goddess, but the Dermot Weld-trained Zhukova is the ante-post favourite.
