Sky Bet are refunding stakes on Some Reign who refused to jump off with the field at Musselburgh.
Sent off a 4/11 favourite for the EBF 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle, Rose Dobbin's charge wasn't with the field when the tapes went up in a dramatic contest which was eventually won by 14/1 chance Ballycrystal Court.
He was deemed a runner under the rules of racing but Sky Bet are among the firms to be refunding stakes, spokesman Michael Shinners saying: "It seemed the only fair thing to do. Punters never got a run for their money and the horse had never showed any signs of doing this before. We're refunding as a goodwill gesture."
