Alan King is set to have three runners in the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster - we got the inside track on the Barbury Castle trio.
Season so far: Sixth when sent off favourite for this race last season, he returned with a fine run over hurdles, finishing third behind Diablo De Rouhet and Daklondike in a Pertemps Qualifier at Newbury in November. He returned to the Berkshire track for the Ladbrokes Trophy later that month, a race in which he was third last term. The headgear was back on and he ran with credit to finish fifth behind De Rasher Counter, beaten just over eight lengths.

Season so far: He made a winning reappearance when edging out Chef d'Equipe by a head in a Newbury thriller. He finished sixth behind Oldgrangewood from his revised mark back at that track next time before taking sixth in the valuable handicap chase at Ascot on the weekend before Christmas. That was only his second start over this three-mile trip and the handicapper has eased him two pounds (now two above his last winning mark).

Good Man Pat (16/1)
Season so far: Lot to like about his return run at Ascot in November, tiring late when fourth to Militarian. That was his first run at three miles and he never landed a blow when dropped back to two-and-a-half for the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup at Cheltenham last month. He's another to have been eased by the assessor and is now three pounds below his reappearance mark - and one lower than when winning at Plumpton in February.
