Free betting tips: Saturday's best bets

Our team of tipsters pick out today's best bets, covering football, horse racing, tennis and greyhounds.

FOOTBALL: Stoke and Bournemouth to draw

"The Cherries’ lowly position is probably not a fair reflection of the quality of some of their performances... if they keep spirits up and create chances then they should not be long in doubling their win tally for the season. I have my doubts whether it will be this week as Stoke are a useful proposition at home but I would not put it past the visitors to find the net and potentially pinch a draw." (David John)

Horse Racing: Clyne 4.25 Ffos Las

"The yard have been amongst the winners of late and it wouldn't be a surprise to me if Evan Williams has targeted this race for a while. It's a fascinating little contest and 2/1 is appealing." (Murt Khan)

HORSE RACING: Duretto 1.25 Ascot

"Andrew Balding's charge loves testing ground, as he showed at Chester last time, and he loves Ascot too, having won at the track twice and being second on two other occasions. "He's getting better with age as you would expect from this family, his half-brother Nabatean was the same, and he shapes like a real stayer, so there’s plenty of potential improvement to come from him at this trip." (Ben Linfoot)

FOOTBALL: Chesterfield to beat Cambridge

"The Spireites lost seven games on the spin before the 2-0 victory at Crawley on Tuesday night and that showed the improvement that has been made at the start of new boss Jack Lester's reign. Lester has the backing of the Chesterfield fans after his impressive spell with the club during his playing career and some much-needed positivity can only help." (Nick Hext)

TENNIS: Venus Williams to win the WTA Finals

"The American has very much focused on the biggest events, not surprising given her age, reaching the final at both the Australian Open and Wimbledon plus the last four of the US Open. This isn't a Grand Slam but outside of the majors, this is as big as it gets and I'm sure Williams will be turning up here very much intent on winning." (Andy Schooler)

GREYHOUNDS: Trapstyle Jet (T4) 8.55 Belle Vue

"A winner over market rival Roxholme Hat seven days ago, it is hoped that the three-year-old continues his progress and confirms the form with Hayley Keightley's charge. The latter is a quality dog and fancied to make another tough fight of it, and the pair look set to go toe-to-toe in what is likely to be a barnstorming finish." (Richard Wilson)
