He missed the cut for a race at Chester last week which was frustrating as that’s his track really. He’s fit and ready to go though so we’ll see how he handles racing at York.
16:05 Charming Kid
This horse made a winning debut in the juvenile maiden here last season. Soldier's Call sets a good standard on ratings here, but as owner Peter Swann told me we’ll find out whether we’re a pattern horse or handicapper by running. He's in good form.
16:35 My Kinda Day
This is a nice colt and one we like an awful lot. He goes well at home and it will be interesting to see what happens here, but he’s in against some very well-bred – and expensively bought – rivals.
