Form: 221311 Trainer: R Hannon Jockey: S M Levey
Ridiculously eyecatching winner of a Goodwood nursery on soft ground and proved that was no fluke when winning a decent Group Three back at the Sussex venue last time. This is tougher again but no knowing when her improvement will flatten out and form puts her firmly in the mix.
Form: 51 T: S Crisford J: P Mulrennan
Improved from her initial experience to win her maiden over course and distance by four lengths and the placed horses have upheld the form to some extent. Winning jockey Paul Mulrennan was understandably impressed, describing her as a 'really smart filly' and no surprise to see her take a hand with underfoot conditions not expected to inconvenience.
Form: 12 T: K R Burke J: P McDonald
Yard enjoying another fine season with their juveniles and she has already placed at this level having chased home a smart prospect at Deauville last time. Longer trip promises to suit and pedigree offers hope that she'll be able to handle conditions (ran on good to soft latest) and achievements already entitle her to close consideration.
Form: 219513 T: K Dalgleish J: G Lee
Finished behind Billesdon Brook last time, shaping as though she would enjoy this stiffer test, and she is improving. The big question is whether she's progressing quickly enough to cope with this opposition and that would seem unlikely as her odds suggest.
Form: 12216 T: M Johnston J: James Doyle
Very much the one to beat despite disappointing in a French Group One last time. Whether she can bounce back from that run is not the only question this very speedy filly has to answer as she races beyond seven furlongs (best form at six) for the first time on ground that's likely to be the softest she's encountered. Should stay this far on paper but has to prove it on the track.
Form: 256111 T: S Kirk J: L P Keniry
Progressive performer in nurseries and pulled clear of her rivals last time but that form is a long way below what will be required here and she's another outsider who has to prove that she's improving quickly enough to cope with some talented rivals.
Form: 32321 T: A P O'Brien J: R L Moore
Beaten favourite on three occasions before winning her maiden but has shown a reasonable level of form and further, significant improvement couldn't be confidently ruled out given her top connections and breeding. Opposable on what we've seen on the track thus far though.
Form: 1611 T: R Hannon J: Jim Crowley
Narrow winner of the Listed Star Stakes at Sandown (Billesdon Brook a close third) and took a step forwards to win a Group Three at Newmarket when one of only two runners to race against the stands' side. Possible that made a difference and this is (obviously) a deeper race but she's done everything asked of her so far and couldn't be confidently dismissed.
Verdict
The layers are dangling a carrot with Nyaleti's price but it's understandable that they're looking to take her on following a poor run and doubts about the suitability of the trip. Dark Rose Angel could be worth a punt at a double figure price but more solid claims are held by LAURENS. Karl Burke houses some top juveniles this season and this filly looks another exciting prospect and is fancied to prove it here.
