Two warm favourites make Oli Bell's Saturday best bets while he's hoping a course specialist can strike at Sandown.

A couple of short-priced favourites make the Yankee this week but I just can't see either Veracious or Duretto being beaten.

The former has finished third in a couple of Group Ones on her sole starts this season, the Coronation Stakes and Nassau, and the return to a mile here won't inconvenience her. She's capable of better still and has a fitness advantage over main danger Laugh Aloud.

Duretto goes well at Chester and heads back to the Roodee in peak form having finished a close third in the Princess Of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket. Here And Now won the two mile handicap at York last week but is going to have find significant improvement to beat the selection here.

Haddaf is a Sandown specialist and is a good bet in the opener there. He made little impact in the Stewards' Cup last time but has already won twice here this term and is now only three pounds higher than when claiming the first of those in April.

Elnadim Star has won four of her last five starts and the improving three-year-old can see off the established stars in the Beverley Bullet. There are reasons to take most of them on and the selection has already won over course and distance which is another significant plus.
