David O'Meara is the trainer to follow at York on Thursday and he can saddle a double courtesy of Edward Lewis (2.20) and Larchmont Lad (4.05).

The former ran really well in a big handicap here at the Ebor Meeting and caught the eye on his reappearance at Pontefract. Larchmont Lad is relatively new to the O'Meara yard and he is the sort they excel with. He was a very good fourth in the Gladness Stakes on his latest start and looks ready to hit top form again,

Mildenberger can land the Betfred Dante for Mark Johnston. He needs to do so for them to consider supplementing him for the Investec Derby and there was a lot to like about his win at Newmarket last time. Typical for one from his yard he just keeps improving and will be hard to pass own the long York straight.

Smart Call looks the pick of the Sir Michael Stoute pair in the Middleton Stakes. She needed her return at Kempton badly and will be a different proposition here. She has a fitness advantage over Coronet and Mori.
