Oli Bell best bets for Saturday's TV action

Oli Bell's strongest Saturday fancies all run at Ayr and include Tommy Taylor in the the big betting race of the day.

1400 Ayr - Fire Brigade

1440 Ayr - Bengali Boys

1515 Ayr - Glass Slippers

1550 Ayr - Tommy Taylor

Kevin Ryan can land Saturday's William Hill Ayr Gold Cup with Tommy Taylor. The four-year-old stays seven furlongs which I think is crucial for this test and ran his best race of the season when third at Ascot last time. He's now eight pounds lower than the mark from which he started the season and he handles the soft ground. Everything is in place for a big run.

Glass Slippers can initiate a double for the trainer in the preceding William Hill Firth Of Clyde Stakes. She's won her last two at Beverley and Chester and impresses with the way she travels through her races. I think there's more improvement to come too.

Richard Fahey has a strong team in action and he can win the William Hill Ayr Silver Cup with Bengali Boys. He was a useful two-year-old and has been waiting all year for this testing ground. He has top weight to contend with but Sebastian Woods takes a valuable five pounds off and he could be too good for these.

Earlier on the card I fancy Fire Brigade to get back to winning ways. He's run well at Doncaster and Ascot recently and is another who will relish the testing conditions.
