Whitsunday Islands failed to make much of an impact on his Curragh debut last month but has been very well backed to leave that run behind this afternoon.

Donnacha O'Brien, riding for his father Aidan, takes the ride on this son of Australia and he is clearly expected to have learnt a good deal from his racecourse introduction judging by the level of support he has attracted. Whitsunday Islands is now 9/1 from 25/1 for the 2.35 at the Curragh.

Back in England, Zain Hana is very strong in the 3.25 at Newmarket and is now 9/4 from 3/1 while on the same card, Keepers Choice - 10/3 from 11/2 - and Poets Society - 9/1 from 16/1 - are proving popular in the 4.00.

At Newbury, Wise Council is now 8/11 from 6/4 in the 4.10 following sustained support while over the sticks at Market Rasen, High Secret is 2/1 from 4/1 in the 3.50.
