Friday afternoon's race meeting at Musselburgh has been abandoned due to a frozen track.
Clerk of the course Harriet Graham had called an 8am precautionary inspection with temperatures forecasted to dip to minus 3C overnight.
Unfortunately those fears were realised and with the mercury not set to get much above 3C all day, the prospect of a thaw was small and the decision was taken early to call the meeting off.
Graham tweeted: "Racing OFF @MusselburghRace Frozen solid with temps only to rise 3 by this afternoon."
