Anita Chambers makes Pipers Note her best bet of the day at Ripon on Monday - she has a selection for every race in the UK and Ireland.
NAP: Pipers Note (3.30 Ripon)
Next Best: Indomeneo (7.15 Carlisle)
Pipers Note has to merit close inspection in the David Chapman Memorial Handicap at Ripon.
Last year's winner has got his head in front eight times in total at the North Yorkshire circuit, seven of them over the course and distance, also winning this event in 2014.
Racing off a mark of 89 when successful 12 months ago - and in 2014 - he has been victorious off as high as 103 in his pomp and arrives for this assignment some 4lb lower than last year.
That is because his form tailed off, but there have been signs of a revival of late - most notably on his penultimate start here - and there is no doubting how much winning her late grandfather's race means to trainer Ruth Carr, so he cannot be dismissed.
Livvys Dream can be backed in the Bank Holiday Family Day 26th August Handicap.
The Charlie Hills-trained filly was last seen at Chelmsford in May, where there was a fair bit to take from her defeat to Grand Inquisitor, who has won again since and been narrowly touched off a couple of times.
The Declaration Of War filly was keen through the early stages and still had everything in front of her when the winner stole a march.
To her credit she came through to put down a challenge, but was never able to quite get on terms, while at the same time finishing well clear of the third.
It will be interesting to see how she goes on the back of her break.
It is Carlisle's annual ladies-only card and Indomeneo can take a starring role for Megan Nicholls in the Glo Like A Winner Handicap (Pro-Am Lady Riders' Race).
The Richard Fahey-trained four-year-old has been in good shape this year and won with a bit more authority than the winning margin would suggest at Haydock last month.
Having travelled powerfully just behind the pace, he quickened two furlongs out to go clear and was always doing enough to hold the runner-up, even though the deficit was reduced to a neck at the line.
The booking of Nicholls makes him a confident selection.
Laafy perhaps did not enjoy the test posed by Goodwood last time out, but should not be discounted in the Matchbook Betting Podcast Handicap at Kempton.
Sir Michael Stoute's charge had previously shaped well when second on his handicap debut at York, with a 2lb rise not looking unreasonable given the competitive nature of that heat.
It is worth giving him the benefit of the doubt on Goodwood and rolling the dice again here.
Affluence has been in great form for trainer Martin Smith, winning his last two, and has solid claims of bringing up the hat-trick in the Galliard Homes Handicap at Windsor.
He had two runs over hurdles in the spring but has won at Yarmouth and then off 2lb higher at Leicester the last twice.
Up another 4lb, there may be more to come.
