Beyond Equal finished last season as a sprinter on the up and can carry on the good work on his reappearance at Windsor.

It was in actual fact a fine year for the Stuart Kittow-trained four-year-old, who won four times and was runner-up once from his seven starts.

He was last seen following up a Ffos Las success with victory at Salisbury in October, bowling along keenly in front but still having enough left to see it out under the now-retired Fran Berry.

While he enjoyed the run of the race, there was no denying he did it nicely and with just 10 career outings to his name it is highly likely he has not yet reached the ceiling of his ability.

All of which makes him the one to beat in the Watch The £Bettingpeople Videos starsportsbet.co.uk Handicap.

Days Of Glory will be expected to get off the mark at the third time of asking in the Call Star Sports On 08000 521 321 Novice Stakes.

The Richard Hannon-trained colt finished mid-division on his debut at Newbury in October, then had the misfortune to bump into a certain Dubai Warrior at Chelmsford the following month.

He had to give best by four and a half lengths to John Gosden's charge - but there was no disgrace in that as we look certain to be hearing a lot more about Dubai Warrior this season.

High Acclaim can be followed in the Royal Windsor Horse Show Handicap.

The Roger Teal-trained gelding is not badly handicapped at the moment and was knocking on the door last time out at Wolverhampton.

It was only last March he was winning the Spring Mile at Doncaster - the consolation race for the Lincoln - off a mark of 81, and he is 6lb lower now.

Gosden's Forest Of Dean is of obvious interest in the Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Handicap at Redcar.

Having progressed nicely through his first three starts in 2018, the Iffraaj colt opened his account on his first appearance of the new year with a runaway success at Newcastle in February.

Forest Of Dean enters the handicap arena from an opening perch of 83 and with further improvement very likely, that mark could prove lenient as he returns to the turf.

Another Venture gets the nod in the most valuable race of the afternoon at Kelso - the Hunter Reim Handicap Chase.

Kim Bailey's Gloucestershire raider rediscovered the winning trail in some style at Plumpton last month, jumping boldly on the whole in a first-time visor and justifying favouritism with a good bit in hand.

The handicapper has given him a 4lb rise, but he has been competitive off similar marks in the past and hopefully his confidence is buoyed.

Assuming the headgear has the same effect a second time, he should prove hard to beat.
