Kempton 7.45 – Archie Mckeller
Ralph Beckett’s two-year-old has shown some pretty decent form in his two runs to date and on both occasions hinted that improvement is highly likely especially his eyecatching debut at Salisbury, a race which has produced plenty of subsequent winners. Making his debut on the AW, he sets the standard and a big run is expected.
Market Movers
Cheltenham Festival winner Tully East has been well supported on his return to action at Punchestown which could be good news for Sky Bet as they have made race rival Campeador their feature Price Boost for today.
The card at Wetherby can't quite boast the same quality but it's a competitive, decent meeting and Amadeus Rox has been nibbled at to put his experience to good use for the powerful Alan King stable in the opener.
Later in proceedings Martin Todhunter's Monbeg River has been very well backed as he bids to gain due reward for a string of consistent efforts last season although he is up against Murt Khan's selection in After Hours.
Sky Bet have taken a scythe to Awesome Allan's price at Nottingham and there's no getting away from the fact that David Evans' gelding is very well handicapped these days but he does have the form to match.
You may recollect some of his better efforts as a juvenile which leads us to Recollect at Kempton tonight and the Luca Cumani-trained colt has been a notable mover in what appears to be a decent maiden on paper.
