Free betting tips: Man On The Spot previews Saturday's televised racing

Our resident tipster Man On The Spot previews the live TV action on Saturday, while we round up the Sky Bet offers.

1.50 Sandown - Betfinder By BetBright Handicap

Sky Bet: Money Back as a free bet if 2nd or 3rd

Monsieur Joe may be feeling his age and was a long way behind Shamshon at Newmarket in July. Bahamian Sunrise is two from two here but looks to be aiming a little too high today. Justice Lady is very consistent and there is no reason why David Elsworth’s filly won’t be in the firing-line again but KASBAH seemed to enjoy this stiff track here in July and is very well handicapped on Turf if he can find some consistency. Majestic Hero is also starting to look well treated given he won off 2lb higher at Epsom in April and was back on song at that track last time but may be hampered by a high draw.

2.10 Chester - corbettsports.com Chester Stakes

Cape Coast will need to be quickly away from a high draw to take up his usual prominent racing position but is still preferred to stablemate Curlew River. Who Dares Wins and Graceland drops back in distance on the back of placed efforts and the latter finished well ahead of Cliff Face when fourth over today’s trip at Chelmsford back in July. MY REWARD ran well over 2m at York last time but his earlier length defeat over 1m6f at Goodwood is the more pertinent form as finished ahead of Shraaoh on that occasion and Tim Easterby’s charge gets the nod.

2.25 Sandown - BetBright Solario Stakes

MASAR was taking on a couple of smart performers when third in the Chesham Stakes at Ascot in June and it was only well inside the final furlong that he and subsequent Group 3 winner Nyaleti were shaken off by the filly September. The Godolphin colt has a host of fancy entries and can pick up the winning thread again here by outpointing Newbury debut winner Purser and surprise Newmarket winner Vintager. Connect was impressive here last time but Romanised was on his toes before running in the Phoenix Stakes and the extra furlong is a worry. Arbalet will need to improve out of all recognition to win this and De Bruyne Horse already looks exposed.

BREAKABLE beat Intransigent and 2015 winner Sound Advice to win last year’s renewal and has scored again here subsequently. A good effort at York last time suggests another bold bid is likely. War Glory is getting steadily closer this year and was in front of Khamaary when second at Newmarket recently but Sharp Defence was well beaten off a lower mark here back in May. Gabrial has slipped back down the weights and this looks easier than his recent tasks in pattern races but Sir Roderic may struggle stepping back up in class.

3.00 Sandown - BetBright Casino Atalanta Stakes

Three-year-olds have a better recent record in this Group 3 but are outnumbered this year by the older fillies. Sir Michael Stoute has trained three of the last nine winners and INTIMATION got no luck in-running when only beaten half-a-length by Rain Goddess in this grade at the Curragh following a break. Like many from her yard, she’s improving with age and can open her seasonal account today at the main expense of Aljazzi, runner-up in the Group 2 Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot, and On Her Toes. The latter has won twice at Listed level, including last time at Ascot when Nathra was behind. John Gosden’s charge is possibly better over 7f but may be best of the rest ahead of stablemates Greta G and Dancing Breeze, though Tisbutadream and French raider Lbretha can’t be ignored.

3.15 Beverley - totescoop6 Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes

A wide-open renewal with most of these old foes. Alpha Delphini won this last year with Final Venture and 2015 runner-up Line Of Reason behind but has had no luck with the draw this time round. Final Venture and Judicial were both beaten by TAKE COVER in Listed company at York in July and the latter should make another bold bid back at this level having competed in tougher sprints since. Line Of Reason won at Musselburgh earlier this year beating Mirza and Kimberella and the latter went on to beat Judicial over 6f at Chester last month while Desert Law arrives in good form having landed a couple of handicaps last month.

3.20 Chester - thembnateam Handicap

El Astronaute was drawn low when making all at the May meeting here but hasn’t been so lucky with the draw this time. He beat Taexali with Spring Loaded back in fourth on that occasion while Blithe Spirit is best round here but she’s another drawn high and will do well to reverse running at the track with CONFESSIONAL. The latter scored over track and trip in July and was placed here once again last week. Willytheconqueror hasn’t won since early last year and still looks high enough in the weights and Poet's Society is preferred off his current mark.

3.35 Sandown - BetBright Recall Handicap

Shabbah was easy to back on his belated reappearance at Yarmouth but shaped with promise and will strip fitter here. Noble Gift finished ahead of the disappointing Abdon when fifth at Goodwood but is thoroughly exposed off this sort of mark. Thundering Blue is in the form of his life and so is Silver Ghost but they are rocketing up the weights. EUGINIO has the beating of Pacify on Newmarket running and was far from disgraced next time in a Group 3 at Haydock, where he got going too late. Still on an upward curve, Richard Hannon's colt gets the nod ahead of Monarchs Glen, who hasn’t raced since May, and Across Dubai, though the latter may have found 1m4f too far in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood.
