Jean-Claude Rouget runs two with the Coolmore-owned Landmark fitted with a visor for his debut and Moisson Du Ciel costing E90,000 as a yearling. Local trainer Christophe Ferland introduces Stamina, a half-sister to the high-class Silasol with Maxime Guyon doing the steering for his retainers while the War Command filly Attendante is another to note. But a speculative vote goes the way of ADEPT, a Dubawi filly out of the Oaks winner Qualify sporting the Godolphin colours for Henri-Alex Pentall’s yard.

10.55 - Racecard and form

FIRA stands out in this having returned a six-length winner over a slightly longer trip at Mont-De-Marsan on her debut in March when beating all four of today’s opposition. Queen Margaux and Boy D Argent finished third and fourth respectively and may finish a bit closer this time but Loulou De Vergne and Halizarine D'ayza were well beaten and look up against it.

11.25 - Racecard and form

Arrow Chop showed a big improvement when going close at Toulouse last time though had earlier finished behind Ippling. The latter finished runner-up on his debut without troubling the winner but Alpengeist was beaten less than a length in a tight finish at Chantilly despite only finishing fourth and can figure if overcoming a wide draw. Henri-Alex Pantall runs two with Soho Sensation expected to improve but stablemate LIBERTADORE finished closer at Deauville on his reappearance and should be in the mix with any further progress. Brouillard and Exclusive Baio are newcomers to keep an eye on representing leading yards.

11.55 - Racecard and form

Godolphin’s Thread Of Silver was placed in the UK on a couple of occasions for Charlie Appleby last year and has switched to Henri-Alex Pantall’s yard. Maxime Guyon takes over the reins on Deauville runner-up Freechope and she’s preferred to stablemate Run Like Hell while Red Berries posted a much better effort at Bordeaux on her reappearance and La Grenade is another to note with Olivier Peslier on board. But KHARA wasn’t beaten far when only fifth on the all-weather at Cagnes on her debut and Jean-Claude Rouget’s filly can get involved in the finish over this slightly longer trip with normal progress.

12.25 - Racecard and form

MALEHA looks to have leading claims having finished runner-up at Toulouse on her reappearance with several of these behind. Philippe Sogorb’s filly is taken to go one better. Mountasir finished closest to the selection in fourth and looks the main threat given Shadad has ran below par in both subsequent starts since winning at Toulouse in October.

13.07 - Racecard and form

SERKIYNA (NAP) opened her account in a maiden at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in February. She looks further forward than stablemate Rosmana and the Rouget filly should be in the mix at this higher level. Oftenwork finished well ahead of Look Of Victory when runner-up at Bordeaux though the latter is much better than that and shouldn’t be completely dismissed and neither should stable companion Tamahere, who has been competing in Listed company since landing a maiden. Designed Survivor faces a tougher task having gone close in a handicap at Bordeaux in February and Project Fear will likely improve for a comeback run at Deauville in February.

13.42 - Racecard and form

Venantimi has been thereabouts on the all-weather in all three starts so far this year but Nikita De Cerisy has struggled since winning her maiden. Wedream won at Bordeaux in February but this is tougher while Benesse went close in a maiden race in the provinces last time. Romanovkha ended 2019 with a maiden success but Jean-Claude Rouget’s filly could have had more luck with the draw on her return and a chance is taken on BLACK COMEDY. He faced a more difficult task at Longchamp earlier in the month but should be more at home in this company representing Christophe Ferland’s local yard.

14.17 - Racecard and form

JOUD AL CHAM made a winning debut in the Al Shaqab colours when scoring at Toulouse and looks worth sticking with. L'eau Enchantee won at Agen back in October and returns to action with a chance while No And No Al Maury is not the most consistent and finished behind third-placed King Monlau at Bordeaux last time.

14.52 - Racecard and form

Miniking returned to winning ways at Le Croise-Laroche in March and should be in the mix once again but FLAMING HEART is preferred. Henri-Alex Pantall’s filly ended last year with a frustrating run of placed efforts including a narrow-margin defeat at Fontainebleu in November and is taken to make a winning return. Wink Oliver and Torancia have a shout on last year’s winning form if rediscovering their best while Penny Yes and Toy Room have both gone close here in the past.

15.27 - Racecard and form

Few make any appeal though the veteran Ruster has placed on has last three outings and can figure again. But LATE COMER makes most appeal on this year’s form on the all-weather having won at Pau in January and finishing thereabouts at Chantilly in both subsequent outings. Grey Magic won over track and trip back in August with Mythical Creature behind though the latter has the stronger recent form with a better effort at Pau last time.
