Luminate battled back on the far rail to win the Prix Penelope at Saint-Cloud.
Freddy Head's unbeaten filly, owned by Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, looked beaten once Homerique kicked on inside the final furlong.
But Olivier Peslier had other ideas aboard Luminate, who showed a really likeable attitude to get back on top within the final few strides and score by half a length.
The daughter of Lawman was claiming a second Group Three, having won the Prix de Conde at Chantilly in the autumn.
"Freddy is talking about going for another Group Three before going for the Prix de Diane (French Oaks, Chantilly, June 18).
"We'll see how she comes out of the race and go from there. She's got a beautiful pedigree and she'll have no trouble staying a mile and a half.
"Freddy has an incredible record with fillies so she couldn't be with a better man."
