Pro punter and National Hunt expert Murt Khan heads to Kempton for today's best bet and he likes the look of Optimus Prime in the 4.20.

San Benedeto is the one to beat but our man Murt believes the jolly could be vulnerable reverting to hurdles and he believes Dan Skelton's runner can spring a surprise.

"He's an impressive-looking beast and connections have toyed with different tactics since acquiring him from France," Murt opines.

"Dan Skelton's horses have held their form really well through the summer and I'm hoping Optimus Prime is reasonably forward and that his speed is decisive today.

"He may not prove to be as good as some of his rivals in terms of official ratings but I think he could turn them over with conditions to suit."

While Murt's followers will be hoping that Paul Nicholls is out of luck in that contest, Ben Linfoot's fans will be hoping that the Ditcheat maestro is already in the money by the time that race is run as Ben's Daily Nap is the Nicholls-trained Marracudja at 3.50.

"He's had a couple of easy wins on his seasonal reappearances in 2015 and 2016 and, while this would be a tougher assignments than those, as they were in novice company, the handicapper has given him a chance," Linfoot argues.

"This looks an ideal track for him and judging by his previous runs first time out his trainer will have him cherry ripe for this."
