Jamie Maynard: Free horse racing betting tips for Wednesday September 27

Last Updated September 27 2017, 20:46Racing

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout September and October, Jamie Maynard will provide his three best bets.

NAP – AHEAD OF THE CURVE (4.30 Perth)

Has been running very well since the move to this yard with form figures 2-1-2-1. He beat an improver here last time by five lengths on soft ground and has 7lbs extra to carry here. Wasn’t beaten far over this trip in a class 3 novice in June and this step back to 3m looks sure to suit. James Corbett claims another valuable 5lbs. The one to beat. (Best price 11/4)

NEXT BEST – ABIENTO (4.50 Goodwood)

Was a close second on a soft ground handicap at Yarmouth before going on to win from the front over this trip at Brighton latest. Has only a 3lb rise to deal with here and Jamie Spencer can get a nice tune out of him again. (Best price 4/1)

TREBLE – BUSH HOUSE (8.40 Kempton)

All his four efforts on the all-weather have been good, two of them wins (one of which over C&D in a similar contest) and can continue that form in this. He’s been raised a pound for his latest third over C&D but that shouldn’t stop him having a say. (Best price 13/2)
