There's £50,000 on offer in Saturday's free-to-play ITV7 and Dave Smith has the guide you need for the crucial races.

13:50 Doncaster - William Hill Portland Handicap (Class 2)

A wide open renewal of this handicap and several with good chances. Few ride Doncaster as well as William Buick and A MOMENTOFMADNESS has claims off 4lb lower than when taking this last year. Others of note are Gunmetal, for whom Donnacha O'Brien is an interesting jockey booking and Open Wide.

14:05 Chester - SportPesa Stand Cup Stakes (Listed) (Class 1)

There isn't a great deal to separate the five runners and all have chances. It could pay to side with GRACE AND DANGER for trainer Andrew Balding who has a strike-rate of 21% overall at the track and an even better 23% over this distance.

14:25 Doncaster - HIRD Rail Group Park Stakes (Group 2) (Class 1)

It's feasible that the extra furlong just caught out TURJOMAN last time out. He was cruising through the race at Goodwood and was only collared close to home. Shine So Brightly is a fine horse and was determined when downing Laurens by a nose last time out.

14:40 Chester - SportPesa Handicap (Class 3)

Having been handed the plum draw in stall 1 and with plenty of stamina to attack from the front CELESTIAL FORCE should give trainer Tom Dascombe another Chester winner. Diocletian would probably want some cut underfoot and Fun Mac is on a long losing streak.

14:45 Chelmsford - luxdeco.com Elsenham Handicap (Class 2)

The 3lb given to WAR GLORY after taking home a Heritage Handicap last time out appears helpful from the handicapper. Even though he's berthed out in stall 12, he can still make a bold bid.

15:00 Doncaster - Pommery Champagne Stakes (Group 2) (Class 1)

It's hard to oppose THREAT who landed the Gimcrack in supreme style, having travelled ominously well throughout. The UK opposition are lightly-raced but the Ballydoyle pair look to be headed by Fort Myers though he probably won't have enough to trouble the favourite.

15:35 Doncaster - William Hill St Leger Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Class 1)

It's not hard to see why Logician is so well found in the market after a stellar performance in the Sky Bet Great Voltigeur at York. Yet, confidence has been tempered by the strong vibes coming from Ballydoyle and SIR DRAGONET is actually rated 2lb higher than the favourite. With Logician not sure to stay it could pay to side with this well-bred son of Camelot.
