There's £50,000 on offer in this weekend's free-to-play ITV7 and Dave Smith has the guide you need for the crucial races.

14:05 Kempton - Sun Racing September Stakes (Group 3) (Class 1)

On all known form Best Solution should be too good for these. There are question marks though - he hasn't raced on the all weather before and has had a long lay-off. That leads to SUN MAIDEN who may just prefer the surface and can make a bold bid from a reasonable draw.

14:10 Ascot - Royal Foresters British EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes (Plus 10) (Class 4)

There's not a huge amount of form to go off in this contest and it may pay to side with one of the newcomers. ANASTARSIA is from last year's winning stable and is a nicely related daughter of Sea the Stars. A lot is taken on breeding as this is her first run but the booking of William Buick is eye catching.

14:25 Haydock - Bet In Play On The Betfair Exchange Superior Mile (Group 3) (Class 1)

With previous fancy Miss O Connor now a non-runner, attention focuses on Tom Dascombe's GREAT SCOT. He's a dual course winner and a course and distance winner with form on heavy ground. He's got a good chance.

14:40 Kempton - Sun Racing Available In App Store Nursery (Class 4)

If XCELENTE's gelding operation has any effect on his willingness to take a keen hold then he could be a big player here. He's dropping two grades after being tried, and faring respectably, in Class 2 contests this season, most notably in behind Weatherby's Super Sprint winner Betty's Hope at Chelmsford in July.

14:45 Ascot - Cunard Handicap (Class 2)

Another competitive renewal and Ripp Orf should be a warm order after winning this off 1lb higher last year. It could though pay to side with ESCOBAR who has been in good form this season, is nicely drawn and has conditions he'll appreciate. He may be slightly on the wrong side of the handicapper but this is wide open.

15:00 Haydock - Read Ryan Moore Exclusively At betfair.Com Ascendant Stakes (Listed) (Class 1)

Some of these have some smart entries and this will surely be a stepping stone for the likes of SUBJECTIVIST who has a Royal Lodge Juddmonte Stakes entry. He'll be happy with some cut in the ground and seemed to relish the step up in trip last time out.

16:10 Haydock - Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Class 1)

A fascinating renewal of this Group 1 has been somewhat dented by the withdrawals of Ten Sovereigns and Advertise. That leaves the door open for HELLO YOUMZAIN who was a course and distance winner in a Group 2 when defeating Calyx and has good form on soft ground as a juvenile.
