Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival Tipping Challenge - Tips and latest news
Alex Hammond was a comfortable winner of the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival Tipping Challenge with a total of £7,685.17 raised for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and New Beginnings Racehorse Rehoming Charity.
The Sky Sports Racing presenter raised £2075 of that on her own after a sparkling tipping performance and finished ahead of silver medallist Team Tim Easterby (£1300) and Ed Chamberlin (unable to raise a team) on £1250
Honorable mentions too to Richard Fahey (£700), who also ended the week as top trainer at the Festival, Michael Shinners (£700) and Team David O'Meara (£586.67).
The stocks are being prepared at Pontefract Castle for the two entrants who failed to trouble the scorer.

Over £40,000 has been raised for charity since its inception in 2012 and the recipients of any proceeds in 2019 will once again be the Injured Jockeys Fund, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and New Beginnings, the Yorkshire-based racehorse retraining charity.
Sky Bet will offer £9,000 in charity bets during the Sky Bet Tipping Challenge. Each of the 10 tipsters involved is given £100 to stake per day (win or £50 e.w.) and the winnings are divided between the three charities.
