J R Cavagin is on target at York

David Ord has two fancies on the card at Ayr with the nap selection a David O'Meara three-year-old returning to the scene of his last triumph.

Every day, our team of racing experts will pull together their strongest fancies, headlined by the Sporting Life Nap.

Wednesday's best bets...

DICK DATCHERY 2.40 Ayr (Nap)

Things didn't go right for David O'Meara's charge at Doncaster last time but he can regain the winning thread in the Jordan Electrics Handicap.

The three-year-old eventually finished third behind Many A Light having been short of room two furlongs out and races from the same mark here.

It's six pounds above the one from which he won his previous start over this course and distance but that form is working out well and the progressive three-year-old has more to offer.

He's taken to get the better of Devil's Angel, an impressive winner of his latest start. (David Ord)

Richard Fahey's team continue to go well and INTERNATIONALANGEL looks the answer to the Scotty Brand Handicap.

The daughter of Dark Angel posted a career-best effort when second to Anglo Saxson at Yarmouth last time, travelling strongly for much of the contest and finishing clear of the remainder.

She's only a pound higher here and is fancied to open her account at the main expense of Proclaimer, an eye-catching third on his return at Haydock. (David Ord)
