A big day in Ireland sees the Savills Chase taking centre stage at Leopardstown, and Kemboy can surprise one or two in the Grade One showpiece.

There is a fair chance he would have gone off favourite for what was the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury and he has been nicely progressive over fences, including when fourth in the JLT at the Cheltenham Festival.

His reappearance victory was a solid one at Clonmel, and he should not be underestimated.

Faugheen will bring the house down if he can take the Squared Financial Christmas Hurdle.

The former two-mile king is not what he was, but he looked not far off that when winning over three miles at the Punchestown Festival - and that trip is what he needs now.

On home soil, Monjeni has been running well in defeat in his latest starts, and the time looks right for him to get his head in front in the Betway Stayers' Handicap at Lingfield.

This two-mile trip should be ideal for the Ian Williams trained five-year-old, whose stamina has just been running out in the closing stages.

He ran creditably for a long way over two and a quarter miles, when he eventually finished third to Stars Over The Sea in the Cesarewitch Trial at Newmarket, and held every chance until the final half-furlong when fourth over an extended two miles at Newcastle.

This less-demanding course can see him prevail, and the handicapper has helped a little by dropping him 1lb for each of those two runs.

Global Goddess was knocking on the door through the summer and autumn, and can strike on her return in the Ladbrokes Nursery Handicap.

Gay Kelleway's filly took in Royal Ascot on her second start in June - when she finished 21st of 22 in the Queen Mary Stakes.

This is a world away, of course, and perhaps a belated chance for her to get off the mark - despite top-weight - at the eighth attempt.

Enchanting Man promises to take all the beating in the Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost EBF Novice Stakes.

The Charlie Appleby-trained gelding looked to know his job when a respectable third first time out, but he should only benefit for the experience and the way he raced suggested the step back to seven from a mile might be in his favour.

Dutch Uncle takes a fairly marked drop in class on his second start for Olly Murphy, and that could work the oracle in the Betway Casino Apprentice Selling Stakes.

It is a while since he won - but he should be a good bit sharper for his latest effort at Wolverhampton, which was his first since March, and he might just appreciate a mile and a half now.

Let Rip had been off for just short of two years before going close at Kempton - and if none the worse for that, has to run a big race in the sunracing.co.uk Novice Stakes.

Despite the length of his absence he was sent off favourite, so must show a bit at home, and connections obviously feel there are races to be won with the now twice-raced four-year-old.

Tan is worth another go in the Betway Heed Your Hunch Handicap - while Three C's invariably goes well here and should do so once more in division one of the Follow Top Tipster Templegate At Sun Racing Handicap.

Lord Bryan looks like he might have been readied for a what is a decent pot at Leicester in the shape of the Leicestershire Silver Fox Handicap Chase.

Peter Bowen's seven-year-old did well in the early part of the year and had a spin round Aintree recently, his first for 202 days.

The class act on the card looks to be Amour De Nuit, who should take his record over fences to four wins from five starts in the Great Glen Novices' Chase.

Ballasalla remains a maiden but looks like getting it together over fences and is one to be with at Catterick, where he goes in the racingtv.com Novices' Handicap Chase.
