Here's our verdict on their chances...
Brio Conti (1:30 Carlisle) - Backing short-priced favourites at Carlisle can be a precarious business, especially when young horses face up to that gruelling final climb to the line, but Brio Conti looks to have been well-placed here to make a winning start over fences. He's always looked a chaser in the making, being a strapping son of Dom Alco, and his fifth to Finian's Oscar in the Grade One novice hurdle at Aintree when last seen translates very favourably in this company. A clear round should suffice and he's won by wide margins in the past, too.
Give Me A Copper (2:25 Kempton) - The first of a couple of disappointing two-horse races on the card at Kempton but there shouldn't be many issues here for Paul Nicholls' charge, providing he can put his Kelso chasing debut experience to good use. He jinked and unseated rider at the path that day but is likely appreciate going right-handed here and he has plenty in hand over his only rival on the official figures.
Whisper (3:30 Kempton) - Here's where I'd be a little wary, certainly when it comes to the distances element of the bets. Whisper and Clan Des Obeaux do battle on level weights and while the former came out on top when they met at Cheltenham in January (giving weight away), it's the Nicholls horse who looks open to far more improvement and he'll be a dangerous opponent if getting into a rhythm. Perhaps a Nicholls treble is the way to go...
