This afternoon's meeting at Exeter goes ahead as planned following a second inspection.
Temperatures at the track dipped to minus 2.5C overnight, prompting officials to take an early look which proved inconclusive.
However, upon return to the track at 9.30am, conditions were deemed to have improved sufficiently for the meeting to go ahead as scheduled.
The take offs and landings at the track have been covered and a rise in temperature is expected to continue.
The going is reported to be soft, good to soft in places.
