Gordon Elliott could run four in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle

Apple's Jade could lead a four-strong team battle for Gordon Elliott in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Sunday.

The top-class mare has claimed the two-and-a-half-mile Grade One in each of the last two seasons and is a red-hot favourite to join Limestone Lad and Solerina as a three-time winner this weekend.

Elliott is responsible for six of the 16 entries overall and is ready to saddle a quartet of runners.

He said: "Apple's Jade, Farclas, Dortmund Park and Sutton Place could all run in the Hatton's Grace, ground permitting."

The Cullentra handler landed all three Grade Ones on this Fairyhouse card a year ago. He looks have strong claims in both the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle and the Drinmore Novice Chase once again.

He added: "Commander Of Fleet will go for the Royal Bond, and Blow By Blow, Delta Work and Cubomania will run in the Drinmore. I might run Flat To The Max, Coeur Sublime and Court Justice in the Grade Three three-year-old hurdle."
