Brian Ellison is looking to run Forest Bihan in the Sky Bet Britain's Most Popular Online Bookmaker Handicap Chase at Doncaster on Saturday, along as the ground is suitable.
Forest Bihan disappointed behind Politologue at Kempton on his latest start, but Ellison put that down to soft ground and a right-handed course.
The North Yorkshire handler is keen to give the seven-year-old a chance to redeem himself at the weekend - in which the sponsors have him as an 8/1 chance.
"He's fine and is in at the weekend. It depends on the ground. He really needs good ground," said Ellison.
"He's in the two-mile handicap chase at Doncaster and has to go left-handed. He definitely doesn't like going right-handed."
Among the 16 entries are Kerry Lee's duo of Top Gamble and Gino Trail, Harry Whittington's hat-trick-seeking Bigmartre and Foxtail Hill from the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard.
