WATCH: Daryl Jacob looks ahead to the new National Hunt season with high hopes for Footpad and Bristol De Mai.

Leading jockey Daryl Jacob provides a rundown of his hopes and expectations ahead to the new National Hunt season with thoughts on Footpad, Bristol De Mai and many more.

Last year was a super season for Jacob, who is retained rider to top owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, as he claimed 58 winners throughout the British jumps season including the likes of Nigel Twiston-Davies' Bristol De Mai, Sceau Royal for Alan King and the Nicky Henderson-trained Top Notch.

Kildisart's two wins were also a highlight during the 2018/19 campaign and Ben Pauling's improving chaser is back for more this term with some lofty targets.

Jacob is also in line to ride the likes of Footpad and Concertista for Willie Mullins, in light of Ruby Walsh's retirement, and he's looking forward to what promises to be another hugely exciting season.
