Following David Ord's four winners in a row, Richard Mann is feeling the heat as he heads to Taunton for Tuesday's best bet of the day.
Sporting Life Daily Nap, February 19
L'Chamise looks a smart performer in the making and is fancied to make it two wins from two starts over hurdles when lining up in the British EBF Mares' "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle at Taunton.
A winner between the flags back in May 2017, last season's campaign in bumpers was a promising one but the switch to obstacles was always going to suit better and it was no surprise to see her make a winning debut over hurdles at Market Rasen in October.
Having been badly hampered and shuffled back in the early stages, the six-year-old did really well to win on that occasion, picking up in good style before displaying a likeable attitude in the closing stages to prevail narrowly.
She remains open to considerable improvement and boasts a more reliable profile than Midnightreferendum, who has something to prove now having disappointed at Newbury last time.
