David Ord snared a 13/2 winning Nap on Monday and he hands the baton to Matt Brocklebank who fancies one for trainer Gary Moore at Leicester.

Sporting Life Daily Nap, January 21

AIGUILLE ROUGE has been set a couple of tough tasks so far this season but trainer Gary Moore is a master at placing his horses and the mare should appreciate a drop in class in Leicester's Humberstone Handicap Hurdle.

Aiguille Rouge was given an entry in the hugely valuable Betfair Hurdle at Newbury so that's a clear indication of the regard in which she's held, but admittedly the current campaign hasn't really panned out as hoped.

She pulled up in a Listed race won by Mack The Man on her first start following a long layoff at Sandown in December before being well beaten off when sixth of nine at Fontwell on Boxing Day.

But those two outings were clearly entitled to be needed and the handicapper has kindly dropped her 8lb in the weights as a result.

She's now on a dangerous looking mark if you go back to her juvenile hurdling form, which included back-to-back wins on very testing ground so conditions should be fine for her at Leicester.
