Matt Brocklebank fancies Kingbrook to win the Acomb Stakes at York on Wednesday - check out the latest Nap of the day.
Sporting Life Daily Nap, August 21
There's a lot to like about the claims of KINGBROOK in Wednesday's Tattersalls Acomb Stakes at York.
He looks to possess plenty of the Kingman ability but also showed a really likeable attitude to fight back and win having been headed at Ascot last month.
Ultimately, he appeared to pass the post with lots to spare and it could just be a case of him still being a little bit green and raw.
Trainer Mark Johnston will definitely iron him out in time and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him given a serious, no-nonsense ride by Joe Fanning in the Acomb, especially considering he looks like he'd already get a mile standing on his head.
His debut third has worked out very well, all four of his rivals that day going on to win race subsequently, and overall Kingbrook just looks likely to be underestimate in the betting given his style of victory last time out.
I was really taken by him and it seems like the Johnston team have this race in mind for him for a while.
