Balkos
Ran well in better race than this when third at Punchestown last time and big player here given he's still somewhat unexposed.

BALKOS went close to landing a gamble at Punchestown last time and looks the answer to the Extra Places On The BoyleSports App Handicap Hurdle.

Philip Enright's mount was upsides the leaders two out before eventually finishing third behind Key Commander.

The drop back to two miles (from two-and-a-half) at Clonmel looks the right move and he takes a drop in class here.

He's three pounds higher than last time but in a weaker heat and is still somewhat unexposed, a comment that doesn't apply to many of his rivals.
