Rocky Blue on target for Leopardstown's Dublin Racing Festival

Rocky Blue is on target for the Dublin Racing Festival after his impressive victory in the Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle over Christmas.

Trainer Tom Mullins is happy to return to Leopardstown for the Grade One Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle.

"Rocky Blue goes for the Grade One at Leopardstown," said Mullins.

"We felt when he won there at Christmas, 'why not go back there'? He's in great order, and I've been thrilled with him since. It fits in nicely."

Stablemate Court Maid has also been lined up for the big meeting and will arrive in great heart, having won her last thee.

"Court Maid could go for a four-timer in the race named after my father (Irish Stallion Farms EBF Paddy Mullins Mares Handicap Hurdle)," Mullins added.

"She's a classy mare and she's getting better all the time. The two-mile-two trip will be grand for her, and it's great prize-money.

"We're fairly sure that she wants two and a half or even three miles at the end of the day. I don't like going too far with novices, but she had such a good mark of 109 that we ran over three miles at Punchestown."

Mullins also has updates on two other stable stalwarts.

"Scoir Mear ran well in the Paddy Power Chase at Christmas, probably better than the form book might suggest," he said.

"It's a tough race, and you have to really fight your corner right from the start. I hope he'll be fitter and stronger now the spring comes, and he could go back to Leopardstown for the handicap chase.

"Grand Partner has a hind leg injury and could miss the rest of the season. It's a real pity, because he loves Leopardstown."
