CONCLUSION

The market leader Glen Rocco could not have been any more impressive when winning a course and distance handicap back in January but the subsequent 13lb rise in the weights is likely to make life a little harder for Nick Gifford’s eight-year-old.

With that in mind, it could be worth taking him on with TALKISCHEAP who has yet to finish outside of the first three in four starts over fences to date.

The form of Alan King’s seven-year-old ties in closely with some of the leading novice chasers including dual Grade 1 winner La Bague Au Roi and he looks an interesting contender tackling Handicap Company for the first time.

Of the rest, Catamaran Du Seuil showed signs of a return to form at Wincanton last time and should appreciate the return to 3m.

Bettrends 1-2-3:

1. TALKISCHEAP

2. GLEN ROCCO

3. CATAMARAN DU SEUIL
