Harry Fry: Back to the drawing board with Kylemore Lough

Harry Fry will "let the dust settle" before making any future plans for Kylemore Lough.

The eight-year-old failed to complete on his first start for the Seaborough handler since joining from Kerry Lee when pulling up as favourite in the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham on Saturday.

Fry said: "He is absolutely fine. We went home with our tail between our legs last night. We learnt plenty about him, the trouble is we were learning on the biggest stage of them all and we got it wrong.

"Noel Fehily wanted to ride him patiently, but he jumped himself there after three fences. The horse thought he had done enough and switched off. He could not switch him back on and the mistake at the water didn't help.

"It is back to the drawing board, but we are not going to panic.

"Kerry Lee did a very good job and the pressure for us to match that is even more so now. We need to let the dust settle before we make any plans."
