However he is among 11 acceptors for Saturday's race - over two-and-a-half miles - which has always been the intended starting point for Laurina.
She was the star novice in the mares' ranks last season, winning at Cheltenham and Punchestown, and has been popular in the ante-post market for the Unibet Champion Hurdle this autumn.
