David Ord

SPEEDO BOY - 3.30 Cheltenham

The Ian Williams-trained Speedo Boy is thoroughly unexposed over timber heading into the BetVictor Intermediate Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham.

He’s only had three starts under National Hunt rules, winning at Huntingdon before seemingly all-at-sea on testing ground behind Apple’s Shakira at this corresponding meeting 12 months ago. He’s since shown improved form on the Flat, finishing sixth in the Cesarewitch and third in a valuable heat at York, and will relish the good ground and step up in trip here. He’s potentially very well handicapped from a mark of 118.

Matt Brocklebank

CORINTHIA KNIGHT - 3.15 Lingfield

Archie Watson’s speedball has been on his travels since winning the valuable 3 Year Old All-Weather Championships Conditions Stakes over course and distance on Good Friday and it hasn’t always been plain sailing, suffering quite heavy defeats in France and Canada. However, he has shown up much better on his last two starts, chasing home Verne Castle at Chelmsford and then posting a good third at Bro Park in Sweden.

He should love a return to Lingfield, where he’s unbeaten in two previous visits, and looks a really solid prospect for a tight race in which his main market rival is posted out in stall 10.

Tom Carnduff

Fleetwood v Walsall: Over 2.5 goals

Both of these sides have seen three or more goals in four of their last five in all competitions, with Fleetwood sitting in the top-seven in the division for over 2.5 goals at home in League One.

Luton, Shrewsbury, Sunderland and Notts County all to win enhanced to 14/1

George Pitts

England to be winning at half-time v Croatia

England have scored six goals in their last two games, with five of those coming in the first half

They hit two in as many minutes in Thursday's friendly win over the USA, while their previous Nations League victory came over Spain when Raheem Sterling's brace and Marcus Rashford's strike came in the opening 45 minutes from a young England side seemingly unfazed by their opposition.

Ben Coley

Jon Rahm to win the DP World Tour Championship

While I’m hopeful Rory McIlroy can deliver having put him up pre-tournament, the in-play value in Dubai is with defending champion Jon Rahm.

Since turning professional, the Spaniard has been as ruthless as anyone ahead of him here and he knows what it takes to win from four back, having shot 65-67 on the weekend last year.

Matt Wallace has done very well in his short career so far but this is a higher grade than that in which he’s been successful, while it’s still early in Danny Willett’s resurgence for him to win a prestigious title like this one.

That’s not to say neither can win, but my focus is on the star names in pursuit and it’s Rahm who looks the bet at this stage after a strong finish to an otherwise low-key round two, after which he sounded positive as regards a nagging wrist issue.

Gareth Jones

Ireland v New Zealand: Successful drop goal anytime in match

In what should be a close game, a drop goal could prove the difference between the two bests sides in the world. At Twickenham last week both England and New Zealand slotted drop goals, highlighting that teams are looking for them in these big contests.

Ireland's Johnny Sexton has a history for hitting drop goals on the big occasion and he will know the importance of Ireland scoring every time they get into the All Blacks' 22.

Chris Hammer

Gary Anderson to win the Grand Slam of Darts

Anderson should breeze through his quarter final against Michael Unterbuchner of the BDO which should set up a likely last-four showdown with Michael van Gerwen. However, MVG’s dominance is not what it was and the Flying Scotsman certainly isn’t intimidated so I’d expect him to come through that and whoever he meets in the final.”

NFL

Touchdown Treble

C.McCaffrey (CAR), A.Brown (PIT) & J.Jones (ATL) all to score at 6/1

All three players scored last week, with Christian Caffrey claiming a touchdown hat trick in in his last game.Julio Jones has scored in each of his last two games and Antonio Brown has scored seven games straight.
