Vegas Golden Knights celebrate a win over LA Kings

The expansion Vegas Golden Knights moved to within a win of the second round of the Stanley Cup play-offs with a come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings.

Alex Iafallo sent the Kings into the first intermission 1-0 up but a second-period rally saw the Golden Knights go ahead with goals from Cody Eakin, James Neal and William Karlsson.

Anze Kopitar netted a late consolation but Vegas hold the upper hand with a 3-0 series advantage in the best-of-seven battle.

Minnesota Wild enjoyed a commanding 6-2 win over Winnipeg to reduce the Jets' series lead to 2-1.

Blake Wheeler gave the Jets an early lead but goals from Mikael Granlund, Zach Parise and Matt Dumba put Minnesota in the driving seat.

Tyler Myers got another goal back for Winnipeg before the Wild eased to victory with further markers from Eric Staal, Jordan Greenway and Marcus Foligno.

Defending Stanley Cup champions the Pittsburgh Penguins bounced back from a 5-1 defeat on Friday with 5-1 victory of their own against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Sidney Crosby had a goal and three assists as the Penguins took a 2-1 series lead.

Matt Calvert scored the overtime winner as the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the Washington Capitals 5-4 to move 2-0 ahead, seeking their first trip to the second round in franchise history.
