Swift Thor (T3) got off the mark at the sixth attempt at Swindon a fortnight ago and is fancied to follow up over the same C&D at 6.44 in one of four opens there tonight.

Kevin Hutton's son of Paradise Madison paced up well into an early lead before romping home by four and a half lengths in 28.94 (calculated) over 480m and is entitled to come on for that confidence booster.

Drawn in the white jacket with a slow starter on his inside, he can get first run again.

It's not often that Sheffield handler Carl Perry visits the Wiltshire track and Geelo Monty (T3) can make his trip worthwhile at 7.16.

The May '15 son of Ballymac Eske has only raced twice since an impressive victory in the BGBF Puppy final at Sheffield in early April and has moved well in a couple of workouts over this C&D.

He should be doing good work after halfway and is taken to turn handy enough to strike.

The 685m contest at 7.48 can go the way of Loggies Bobby (T6), who made a promising debut over six bends at Hove last week.

Following two good efforts in defeat over 515m at the Sussex track, the Simon Harms-trained dog led until the dying strides over 695m when touched off by Bobaloubar.

He is open to plenty of improvement after only three starts and should find this less testing trip more suitable.
