Our golf man Ben Coley is owed a pint or two by his followers having tipped up Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood - the first TWO home in the Open.
Coley's followers were rewarded with a beautiful Sunday watching the action from Royal Portrush as his 70/1 each-way shout Lowry held a four-shot lead from 30/1 each-way fancy Fleetwood overnight.
Having backed both of the final pair, who had powered clear of the field after three rounds, it was a procession for Coley's followers and it was the best possible outcome as the higher-priced Irishman cantered home to victory.
It was a sweet victory for the home crowd at Portrush but also a tasty return for those of you following our golf tips.
Racing punters double up!
A lot of winners at the weekend filled their boots backing the Waldfpad & Betty’s Hope double, but Monica from Andover went one better with a £2.50 treble reeling in just over £13,000!
A number of accounts from various locations backed the big priced double in the Hackwood & Super Sprint on Saturday, with Kev from Heanor the stand-out as he pocketed £10k from the £10 each-way double placed.
