Notts County 0-4 Yeovil: Pre-season Sky Bet League Two favourites thrashed at Meadow Lane

Alex Fisher netted a hat-trick and Yoann Arquin added another late on as the Gloves sealed their first win of the season.

Kevin Nolan's County - 13/2 with Sky Bet to win the league at the start of the season - thought they had taken the lead through Nathan Thomas early on but the offside flag was raised.

Arquin was the provider for Yeovil's opening goal as he crossed low for Fisher to turn home before the former Motherwell forward added another two minutes later after latching onto the end of another low cross.

The Magpies failed to find a way back and more defensive errors allowed Fisher to complete his treble, with a little help from the post.

With 12 minutes left on the clock, Enzio Boldewijn was fouled in the area and the hosts were awarded a penalty - but Kane Hemmings struck his effort against the crossbar.

If it wasn't already, the victory was confirmed when Arquin headed home seven minutes from time to reiterate the fact Nolan and his staff have plenty of work to do at County.
