Aston Villa find themselves as third-favourites to become Ashley Cole's next permanent club.
The Sky Bet Championship outfit currently sit eighth in the standings, four points adrift of the play-off positions.
Villa have seen an upturn in form following the arrival of Dean Smith from Brentford, and his assistant John Terry has history with the free agent.
The duo were together at Chelsea for eight years before Cole departed for Roma in 2014, while also lining-up alongside each other for England at numerous tournaments between 2004 and 2012.
Derby are also in the market with Frank Lampard another former Chelsea teammate. The Rams currently have Huddersfield Town loanee Scott Malone as their starting left-back.
Cole is fancied to stay stateside though with 'any MLS club' the favourite at 4/1, while a move to the Chinese Super League is a slightly bigger price at 5/1.
West Ham make up the other English representation in the market, while Rangers - managed by another former England teammate in Steven Gerrard - are outsiders at 14s.
