Summer transfer window 2019/20: Deals that could still be done, including Neymar, Christian Eriksen and Paul Pogba

Transfer Talk: Neymar is just one of several big names tipped to move before European window closes
Transfer Talk: Neymar is just one of several big names tipped to move before European window closes

The transfer window may be closed for Premier League and Sky Bet Championship clubs, but big deals are still to be done across Europe.

Here, using odds from Sky Bet, we take a look at some of the moves that could still happen.

Neymar to Barcelona

Sky Bet odds: 4/11

Neymar: Expected to return to Barca after two years at PSG
Neymar: Expected to return to Barca after two years at PSG

Neymar's return to Barcelona could be a step closer after officials travelled to France for talks with Paris Saint-Germain.

The 27-year-old's future in Paris has been uncertain all summer but the Spanish giants are stepping up their efforts with less than three weeks to go until the European transfer window shuts.

PSG are unlikely to sanction a sale unless they are able to recoup the £200m they paid Barca for Neymar in 2017.

Neymar has been angling for a return to Spain all summer and told the Ligue 1 champions he wanted to leave in July. Real Madrid have also held talks to sign him.

Paul Pogba to Real Madrid

Sky Bet odds: N/A

Manchester United's Paul Pogba
Manchester United's Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba completed 90 minutes against Chelsea and impressed, laying on two assists, and it could be questioned whether he was playing for a move to the Bernabeu.

The French midfielder, 26, applauded all four corners of the stadium at full-time and it has been reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Pogba he is central to his plans at the club, but his comments after the game cast doubt over his future.

"Obviously there have been things said but only time will tell. This question mark remains," Pogba said.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is an admirer of his compatriot but the fact United cannot replace him makes a deal all the more difficult.

The midfielder scored 16 goals and contributed a further 11 assists in all competitions during 2018/19, but a breakdown of relationship with then-manager Jose Mourinho dominated headlines earlier in the campaign, followed by a decline in performances towards the end of the season under Solskjaer.

His agent, Mino Raiola, said at that start of July that he was working on a deal to get Pogba his dream move.

"Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes," Raiola told The Times.

"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."

Christian Eriksen to Real Madrid

Sky Bet odds: 3/1 (Atletico current 7/4 favourites)

Tottenham are still hopeful of convincing Denmark playmaker Christian Eriksen to extend his contract at the club, despite interest from Real Madrid.

The Dane has been linked with a Bernabeu switch all summer and he showed his importance to the north Londoners with a game-changing cameo from the bench on Saturday, as they came from behind to beat Aston Villa.

Man United were strongly linked with a move for Eriksen before the Premier League deadline while it has been suggested Italian giants Juventus have considered a 2020 move as Eriksen enters the final year of his contract.

The 27-year-old currently earns around £80,000-a-week at spurs and reports suggest they are willing to offer him a huge rise that would see him earn £200,000-a-week to stay put.

This is what Eriksen said about his Tottenham future earlier this summer:

Philippe Coutinho to PSG

Sky Bet odds: 4/5

Barcelona and Bayern Munich have continued talks over a deal for Philippe Coutinho.

It is claimed, though, that the Bundesliga giants are open to signing the Brazilian on a two-year loan. However, Coutinho's salary could prove a stumbling block as Bayern are not prepared to make him their highest earner ahead of Robert Lewandowski.

PSG remain the favourites to sign the former Liverpool and Inter Milan playmaker, as talk of a swap deal for Neymar lingers.

Barcelona offering Coutinho as well as cash could help complete the deal before the European deadline.

Reports in Spain claim his agent has flown to the French capital for talks which could prove to be the final piece of the jigsaw.

Paulo Dybala to PSG

Sky Bet odds: 2/1

Could Paulo Dybala be on his way to the Premier League?
Could Paulo Dybala be on his way to France?

Another potential replacement for Neymar at PSG, Dybala would be another superstar signing to be added to Thomas Tuchel's front line.

A move to Man United or Tottenham failed to materialise before the Premier League deadline, but it appears the Argentinian is not in manager Maurizio Sarri's plans and an exit could still be on the cards.

Inter Milan were said to be interested, but a deal would not be possible unless Mauro Icardi goes the other way.

The move does not seem to have gone down well with fans of the Old Lady, with Goal claiming 'don't touch Dybala' was trending on Twitter when he looked likely to be heading to England.

The 25-year-old is highly rated and scored 78, assisting 30, in 182 appearances for Juve, so if he does leave before the end of the summer window, his new club would undoubtedly be lucky to have him.

Edin Dzeko to Inter

Sky Bet odds: 1/2

At 33 years old, the former Man City forward could have one more big career move left in him with talk of a Roma exit on the cards after Inter showed interest.

The Bosnian appears to be in favour of the move to Antonio Conte's side. Roma have reportedly identified Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli as his replacement, so Dzeko may have to wait for them to complete a deal first.

Tiemoue Bakayoko to Monaco

Sky Bet odds: 8/11

The 24-year-old joined Chelsea in a reported £40million deal from Monaco in 2017.

After failing to impress in his first season, the Frenchman was sent on loan to AC Milan and he could now be returning to his old club.

Reports suggest that talks have opened between Chelsea and Monaco over a move. Bakayoko, who was said to have previously held talks with Galatasaray earlier this summer, could return to the principality on an initial loan after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge by Frank Lampard.
