West Ham close to agreeing a deal with Toulouse to sign centre back Issa Diop, according to Sky Sports' sources.

A deal for the 21-year-old Frenchman has been agreed in principle, ahead of Monaco, Marseille, RB Leipzig and Sevilla, who all wanted to sign Diop.

Sky Sports also say Spurs have offered Aston Villa £15m for their highly-rated midfielder Jack Grealish.

Villa value their prized asset at closer to double that figure – and could be more interested in a bid from Chelsea  - especially as it’s likely to see the 22-year-old loaned back to the Championship club for next season.

Real Madrid believe they can finally land David De Gea for £100m, say Manchester Evening News while the Birmingham Mail report Jack Wilshere could still be an option for Wolves with reports claiming his Arsenal future remains uncertain.

Could Jack Wilshere be off to France next season?

Nottingham Forest have agreed a club record fee in the region of £13m for Benfica midfielder Joao Carvalho, according to Sky Sports News.

The deal, subject to a medical, will smash Forest's transfer record of £6.2m for Britt Assombalonga.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane insists he is happy at the club after speculation linked him with a move to Real Madrid.

The Senegal international scored in last month's Champions League defeat to the Spanish club and speculation almost immediately suggested he was a target for them - before Zinedine Zidane's shock resignation.

But Mane, preparing for the start of the World Cup in Russia, insists he feels at home at Anfield.

"I am very happy in Liverpool and my contract will last for three more years," the 26-year-old, a former Red Bull Salzburg player, told Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten.

"But you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League."
