Transfer news round-up

Antoine Griezmann is the big name today as he declared that he's decided on his future - but he's not telling us!

"The decision has been taken but it is not the time or the place to talk about it," he said. "I am very sorry, I know you have all been waiting but I will not give my decision today."

So, will he stay at Atletico Madrid or will he move on? Barcelona are 5/4 favourites to sign the Frenchman and they appear to be the only option with Man Utd next best as 10/1 shots.

Wolves are not messing around as they prepare for life in the Premier League and they've used their contacts to bring in Mexico and Benfica forward Raul Jimenez on a season-long loan.

Busy Gunners

Busy day at Arsenal, with youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles signing a new long-term contract with the Gunners, while the club are chasing a couple of new signings.

Sky Italy say talks on ongoing with Sampdoria for midfielder Lucas Torreira, with a deal of around £26.5m on the table for the 22-year-old Uruguay international.

Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu is also on Arsena's radar - the 22-year-old centre back has played 55 times for the German side and has won 15 caps for Turkey.

Reports in Germany say that Everton boss Marco Silva is looking at Germany international left-back Marvin Plattenhardt. The 26-year-old Hertha Berlin man is part of the German squad out in Russia this summer.

Bournemouth are reported to have made a £16 million bid for Levante midfielder Jefferson Lerma as they look to make their first mark on the transfer market this summer.

Fulham have been credited with a renewed interest in Arsenal defender Calum Chambers. The 23-year-old was targeted by Fulham last summer but they believe they have a better chance of luring him to Craven Cottage now they can offer Premier League football.

European transfer rumours

It's an interesting line in Sport in Spain as they say Barcelona could use Rafinha as a part of a bid to grab Christian Eriksen away from Tottenham Hotspur. The Brazilian midfielder has been on Mauricio Pochettino's radar for some time, but whether he is willing to lose Eriksen to bring him in is another matter.

Gazzetta Dello Sport believe Belgium midfielder Radja Nainggolan could swap Roma for Iter Milan in a £30m move. Inter are keen to try and use a couple of younger players as makeweights in the deal to keep their cash outlay down to a minimum.

Juvetus could be about to make a move for veteran Uruguayan defender Diego Godin, according to Tuttosport. The grizzled centre-back would be right up the Italian side's street and could be available for around £15m with a year left on his contract.
