Here, Sporting Life takes a look at the latest transfer rumours from around the media, as well as some of the done deals on Wednesday May 30.

  • Zdenek Zlamal (Unattached to Hearts) - Free

Rumours round-up

German midfielder Emre Can looks likely to be heading to Italy with Juventus confident of annoucing him as their new signing this week, says Sky in Italy.

Can's contract at Liverpool expired at the end of the season and it was always thought that he would be leaving Anfield and heading to Italy - but the Reds signing Fabinho on Tuesday seemed to underline the decision.

Can has not been named in Germany's World Cup squad after missing the last two months with a back injury - although he did make his final Liverpool appearance as a late substitute in the Champions League final.

Manchester United interested in West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic, Sky Sports News understands.

However, the Hammers consider the Austrian, who won their Player of the Year award, is not for sale. Arnautovic, who it is understood he would cost at least £50m, played under Mourinho at Inter Milan.

Wolves are bringing striker Benik Afobe back to Molineaux on a full-time basis after activating a clause in his contract to sign him back from Bournemouth for £12.5m.

After struggling at Bournemouth following his £10m move, Afobe returned to Wolves on loan and scored six goals as they secured a return to the Premier League and the Championship title.

The loan deal included an option to purchase Afobe and Sky Sports News reports that Wolves have now taken up that option to seal his permanent return.

Wolves have been activiating plenty of clauses lately, with French defender Willy Boly also poised to sign permanently after playing a prominant role in Nuno Espirito Santo’s back three.

Reports of Riyad Mahrez joining Manchester City have been doing the round all day, and now the Manchester Evening News reckons the Algerian could join Pep Guardiola's side within days.

Mahrez is 1/6 to move to the Etihad so it now just seems a matter of if not when he'll leave Leicester, and for how much!

Manchester City, meanwhile, will not be loaning out teenage midfielder Phil Foden, according to Sky Sports, as the Premier League champions are set to offer him a new deal just days after he turned 18.

Christian Pulisic
Christian Pulisic is in demand in the Premier League

Borussia Dortmund's young American midfielder Christian Pulisic is one of the hottest properties in Europe, and although he's being chased by Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United, his father insists that reports of his son agreeing to join any of those Premier League sides are 'hogwash'.

Pulisic junior has been on the radar of all three English teams for the last year or so, and his father did admit that they'll sit down with Dortmund in the summer and agree on his next move.

"He was linked to Tottenham. Last week it was Liverpool. The week before Man United. The week before this… it's hogwash," Pulisic said.

"He's linked with a different club every week. I have no idea. His agent right now is working and looking, in close relation with me and Christian, and we're just trying to see what the best phase of his next development will be."

Tottenham are 7/2 favourites to sign Pulisic, with Liverpool at 6/1 and Manchester United 12/1 to bring him to Old Trafford.

Clubs are lining up to try and sign Jay Rodriguez from relegated West Brom, including Burnley, Bournemouth, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old scored 11 goals in all competitions last season joined for £12 million from Southampton and the Baggies are not inclined to let him leave on the cheap.
