Rumours round-up

Fulham have sensationally beaten a host of top European clubs to the signing of Nice midfielder Jean Michaël Seri, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Ivory Coast international was linked with moves to Arsenal and Chelsea, but he is now set to sign for the Cottagers.

The 26-year-old was spotted in London on Monday evening, with Chelsea believed to be his destination, although now it appears he is set for the returning Premier League outfit.

Sky Sports Italy also report that Juventus president Andrea Agnelli has flown to Greece today, more specifically to Kalamata - just 60km from where Cristiano Ronaldo is on holiday.

Reports say that Agnelli may well have simply gone to Greece on holiday - or more likely, he's there to make things happen faster and possibly bring him back. Agnelli has now landed in Kalamata and taken a helicopter to Ronaldo's hotel.

N'Golo Kante could be heading to PSG

PSG are keeping tabs on Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante but have not yet made an offer, according to Le 10 Sport. Antonio Conte has returned to take pre-season training amid rumours that the Italian is set to depart Stamford Bridge.

PSG's sporting director Antero Henrique would like to sign the French midfielder and it's believed he would offer a huge salary of around €12-15m (£10.6-13.2m) a year.

Newcastle United have rejected a bid of £20m, rising to £25m, from West Ham for their captain and centre back Jamaal Lascelles.

Sky Sports News stated this morning that the player is not for sale.

The 24-year old reported back for pre-season training at Newcastle on Friday, with Everton also understood to be interested.

Sky Sports also says that Brighton are close to signing Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Percy Tau.

Sundowns released statement on Monday giving clearance for deal to be finalised.

Tau is now free to take a medical and discuss personal terms, and the South African player of the year will require a work permit.

Angus Gunn

Southampton are closing in on deals for Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn and Borussia Monchengladbach defender Jannik Vestergaard.

After narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League last season, Saints have bolstered their squad with the addition of Stuart Armstrong and Mohamed Elyounoussi.

Mark Hughes' side are still active in the transfer market, with a permanent deal for highly-rated City goalkeeper Gunn edging towards completion.

Manchester United have reportedly opted against pursuing a deal for Liverpool transfer target Nabil Fekir, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas recently revealed he had spoken to Jose Mourinho, but no deal is on the table from Man Utd.

Leeds United are set to wrap up a deal for Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on a season-long loan deal.

The Yorkshire Evening Post Reports that Leeds have now made the 24-year-old their top target following a failed attempt to sign Gunn from Manchester City.

Blackman made 31 league appearances for Sheffield United during a loan spell last season and featured in both of the Blades' wins over Leeds.
